Drill 3/4″ access holes in the area that is shaded on the ends of the feeder. The green lines represent Plexiglas cover so the bees don’t fly out at you when you remove the outer cover. You might want to put a screen in the shape of a V between the upper and lower support so the bees cannot get into the fill area. This drawing is due to be changed.
Please note that the bottom needs to be removable. The catcher needs to be placed roughly 10 feet off the ground and in a shaded area. You might want to paint it to the color of the surroundings too.
This is just a test bottom board. I have not actually tried to make it yet. If you build it, and it works, let me know! I will let everyone else know too!
